Nestled in the lush vegetation of the Tuscan hills, Borgo del Borro offers a surreal reality to anyone who stays there: a corner of paradise far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, where time seems to flow more slowly and every moment is imbued with an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity. Exploring the village's cobblestone streets, admiring the breathtaking views of the surrounding rolling hills, and enjoying the luxury of a stay in one of the luxurious suites are just some of the extraordinary experiences Borgo del Borro offers its guests.
Among the various activities organized we had the privilege of participating in the exciting "Borro Story" event, an unforgettable experience that blended art, history and wine tasting in the evocative setting of the borgo's wine cellar. The visit kicked off with a detailed presentation of the history of the winery, housed in a private gallery enriched with original works by such masters as Picasso and other notable artists. Guided by a passionate and knowledgeable guide, we were taken on a journey through the centuries, learning the secrets of local wine production and tasting some delicious production wines.
But the experience was not limited only to the discovery of the winery: we then immersed ourselves in the enchanted atmosphere of the surrounding borgo, a true jewel stopped in time, expertly restored and full of charm.
The evening culminated in an unforgettable dinner, masterfully served in a dream location with panoramic views of the illuminated village. The dishes, simple but masterfully prepared, delighted us with authentic flavors and the highest quality ingredients.
All in all, it turned out to be an extraordinary experience that I highly recommend to everyone, even those who are not guests of the facility. A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the magic of a place that lends itself perfectly to a romantic candlelight dinner, where time seems to stand still and the flavors of Tuscany come alive in every morsel.
